2023 BASKETBALL SKILLS CLINIC WITH MASON DOCKS

Former Williamston High School 2022 State Basketball Champion Mason Docks has announced the dates and location of his inaugural youth basketball clinic.

The four-day basketball clinic will be held in partnership with the Honey Bear Project on June 19-22, 2023 at Court One Training Center, M-78 in East Lansing, Michigan. The clinic will consist of intense training on the fundamental skills of basketball. It will be tailored to boys and girls in grades 3-8 who want to play basketball at a high level by increasing their mental, physical and individual skills to become better players. Training will use proven methods of instruction to enhance offensive attack moves from all positions, defensive footwork and passing efficiency. Participants will be instructed by a premier team of hall of fame coaches, former and current players in the Big Ten, Big East, American East, Conference USA, Ohio Valley and Mid-American Conferences as well as All Area High School standouts. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet and interact with notable sports players and personalities including, current and former MSU basketball players, NFL players, and the current associate director, sports administration, at the Big Ten Conference, Noor Davis.

Due to the level of instruction, intensity of workouts and individual attention provided to campers, the clinic will limit attendance to 70 participants per session (Morning: 3rd-5th graders, Afternoon: 6th-8th graders).

Each participant will receive a t-shirt, basketball and personal skills evaluation.

Docks will be on-site to direct the event and will be supported by a group of current and former area players and coaches. The camp is open to boys and girls of all skill levels in grades 3-8. The cost of the camp is $175 if registered before June 12 or $200 thereafter.
